Matthew Silvester, Director at Meinhardt Thailand, took the stage yesterday at the Siemens Data Center Conference 2026 at Pullman Bangkok King Power, sharing insights on the future of data centres. He joined the panel discussion on “Breaking the Rack Barrier: Managing 1MW Racks and What Comes Next,” alongside industry peers. Also in attendance was John Anderson, Deputy Managing Director at Meinhardt Thailand, representing the team at this key industry event.
Matthew highlighted the rapid shift toward giga-scale data centres, emphasising that while rack density is increasing, supporting infrastructure like power and cooling must scale alongside it—making speed to market and physical constraints key industry challenges.
A special thank you to Siemens Thailand for hosting such a well-curated and insightful event, bringing together industry leaders to exchange perspectives on the future of data centre innovation.
