The project is a 180-key resort development on Arakabesang Island, Palau, of around 22,390 sq.m. It includes Guestrooms & Suites, F&B Outlets, Event Facilities, Spa, Fitness and Recreation facilities Other Areas.
The following key strategies for the project are noted and will be followed by Meinhardt:
• Focus on integration into the natural hillside site to minimise ecological and visual impact
• Use of state-of-the-art recycling and sustainability systems
As such, Meinhardt will utilise their experiences of designing MEP infrastructures for multiple resort projects, including numerous Maldives resorts, to ensure that the project incorporates durable and proven state of the art infrastructure systems that will contribute to the sustainable development of the project and that will be appropriate to a remote location such as Palau.
