Design of the new BIH Phuket is well advanced with construction due to start in Q2 2024. Located on a 16 Rai green field site near Phuket International Airport, this new hospital will feature an Advanced Diagnostic Centre (ADC) encompassing ER, MRI, CT scan, outpatient facilities, procedure rooms, ICU, and much more. The inpatient facilities will ultimately have a capacity for 250 beds, with the initial phase accommodating 150 beds. The project includes a common basement with car parking, plant rooms, and BOH facilities, resulting in a Gross Floor Area (GFA) of approximately 45,000 sq.m.

Meinhardt is undertaking C&S, MEP, Vertical Transport, and Traffic Engineering for the project which is being delivered in BIM (LOD300) and is expected to be completed in 2025.
