On June 8, 2023, the British Chamber of Commerce Thailand (BCCT) organized an evening panel discussion titled “Carbon Zero Buildings – The Nexus of Design, Renewables and Cement” at Pullman Grande Sukhumvit. Among the speakers was Mr. John Mugford, Associate Director from Meinhardt (Thailand) Ltd, who presented on the topic of “What are Carbon Zero buildings, and how design can help achieve them.” The other two speakers were Mr. Peter du Pont from Asia Clean Energy Partners and Mr. Ali Hasanbeigi from Global Efficiency Intelligence. The event drew professionals from diverse business sectors. The panel discussion provided valuable knowledge, insights, and a deeper understanding of carbon zero buildings and how the integration of design, renewables, and cement can contribute to achieving sustainability goals.
