The technology company Continental officially starts tire manufacturing operations at its Greenfield tire plant. With investments of more than €250 million, this plant will create about 900 new jobs by 2022 and will produce up to four million passenger and light truck premium tires per year for Thailand and the APAC region.
The grand opening was attended by Khun John Pollard – Regional CEO, South Asia / Managing Director, Meinhardt Thailand and Khun Chen Yao Hui – Director and Project Director of Continental Thailand Manufacturing Plant.

Meinhardt Thailand provided Construction Management services to this greenfield project and achieved 3,800,000 safety manhours without loss-time incident (LTI).
