Safety Officer
Responsibilities:
- Become familiar with the Site Safety Working Procedures.
- Shall assist the Contractor in the preparation of appropriate Safety Procedures.
- Shall monitor Contractor’s daily Safety Performance, and assist in Weekly Safety.
- Meetings at the worker level and document Contractor’s Safety Program results.
- Report to the Resident Engineer regarding the safety measures of the Contractor.
- Attend Weekly, Monthly Site Safety Meetings with Contractor.
- Prepare minutes of safety meetings and reports detailing health and safety within their assigned project site.
- Day-to-day liaison with Client’s Safety Officer.
- Monitor incidents of injury, illness, and other situations within an assigned geographic area.
- Design strategies to reduce incidents of illness, environmental accidents, and other issues that may affect public safety.
- Design training programs to provide safety awareness education.
- Regularly inspect equipment.
- Led HSE observation patrol, recording, and follow-up for hazard mitigation and closeout.
- Assist general site office admin work and other tasks as directed.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or any related field.
- Minimum 1 year of working experience related to cost estimate, cost management, payment certification.
- Good Computer skills in MS Office (Word, Excel and Power Points).
- Good knowledge computer software in AutoCAD.
